The Karnataka Mathrushree Scheme, launched by the state government is designed to offer assistance to pregnant women (from BPL Families) throughout the state.

What is Mathrushree Scheme for Pregnancy in Karnataka?

In Mathrushree Yojana Karnataka, pregnant women will get a total allowance of Rs. 6000 from the Karnataka Government. The funds from this scheme will be directly credited to the recipients’ bank accounts, enabling them to address their health requirements and ensure nourishment for their offspring.

Through the Karnataka Mathrushree Initiative, pregnant women will also receive nutritional support from the state government. This provision of nourishment will begin as soon as pregnancy begins and will continue until six months after the baby is born. The main goal of implementing this program by the state government is to provide healthcare assistance and financial support to women during their pregnancy.

Objective of this scheme is to provide nutritious food at least once a day to pregnant women of rural area.
